A Blog To Write – My Ice Cream

Hello my readers! A very good day to all. So today is Friday. So why don’t you read my blog on Friday. It’s called Friday Or Friyay. I know, I know, that I have shared this blog multiple times, almost on all Fridays. So it’s ok. read and enjoy.

Again, after a long time, I don’t have a new topic to write about. Thinking about it, I remembered my blog on blogging for my daughter. If you haven’t read that, then here it is — A blog To Write. Hence, I have decided to take this topic further. This time it’s about “My Ice Cream”.

————————————————————————————–

The stick in my hand, the liquid all over my palm, few drops on my dress and then the shouting – “Naisha, how many times should I tell you, eat properly. Where is the plate?”. But Maa, I was enjoying my ice cream.

I am sure, Mom must have eaten like this only in her childhood days. I know that those days, mom didn’t wash her hands before and after eating. Then why this shouting? She must be jealous that she can’t eat like this anymore. I enjoy eating ice-cream the way I like. Sometimes mannerly (because my mom is near), sometimes mannerless (because she is not around and she doesn’t know what I do in that best time). I enjoy eating in a mannerless way a lot.

My favourite ice cream is Raspberry candy from the Havmor company. It is made of strawberries and Vanilla. Who don’t like ice cream should be punished. When my ice cream melts, I enjoy drinking it. But as per parent rule, to be more precise – Mom’s rule. I am allowed to eat ice cream during the day and that too after lunch. And only 1. Not at night time. They say, I will be sick. But No one knows how much I eat when Mom goes for a shower. Ha Ha!

Enjoy eating ice cream, the way you want to eat. Parents will shout, because they are jealous of us. So don’t worry. Enjoy!

Keeping my post short and sweet this time. Because as I said, I don’t have a topic to write on. Hope you enjoyed reading my blog on blogging for my daughter. Thanks a lot. Comments and pingbacks will be appreciated.

Busy Never Stops

When you get bored, what do you do ? In this “work from home” world, you will get ignored maximum times. You will keep on waiting for someone to be free. It is rightly said, “Some talk in their free time and some free their time to talk to you”. This work from home culture has forced me to fall in the first category. I was the one who knew to talk even if I was busy. If I was extremely busy, I still used to pick calls and request them to call later. But Yes, I used to respond immediately. Now since I pick-up calls and reply to any message quickly, I am literally taken for granted. People started thinking that I have ample free time. “Busy” And “extremely busy” are two words which has more value now.

But still, Whenever I get “ping”, I always have a smile on my face. I always respond as quickly as possible. Not because I’m free, Because some conversation has to be quick and funny or serious at that time only. But, we can’t do anything if we are on their ignore list. I find this very funny. People say they are busy. But they have time to check each and everyone’s WhatsApp status. Though I should not comment negatively on this because I want people to check mine and click on my blog links, But it’s funny.

According to me, no one is free. Everyone is busy. But it’s up to you how to take out your time. By saying all the time that you are busy, no one will value you in the next moment. Expecting someone to understand your busyness is foolish. Stop at once. You will lose what you had. And we should also stop wandering around them. Because they don’t know how to take time, So they will never be free for you. You can’t do anything if you see someone going away from you. Don’t disrespect yourself.

Busy Never Stops. It is something that keeps on going. It is not weak, prideful, or foolish to take one day, one hour, one minute for you. Reading books or following your hobby is good. I am not saying to be in touch with people all the time. But yes, talking to someone heals a lot more than books and following hobbies. So, where is the joy in pinging? It’s like, you will still be in touch, by responding to their post or pic. You will automatically get a response, but a general response. but it’s ok. At least the funny or serious conversation will start for a moment. Usually the conversations are funny and hence there are chances of that conversation to be lengthy. To relax your mind, You have to take out some time for conversation, Whether it is a call or message but at least be in touch. Don’t wait for you to get free and then reply. Because work never stops, Work will never wind up, things never stop, Your imagination never stops, Your Planning never stops and IT SHOULD NOT STOP. Being busy is good, VERY GOOD but as I said, learn how to spare time. Time is always available for ease and relaxation.

The Colored Faces Memories.

Its 2021 and this year too we are celebrating festivals in a dull manner with increasing numbers of Covid patients.  Ya,  the same covid and blah blah. We don’t need any explanation now on what is Holi or Dhulivandhan or Holika. The Holi festival reminds me of 1990s day where there was no rain dance or DJ. It was just water, water balloons and hell lots of “chipku” colors (The colors which takes time to go off).

But, to be honest,  I use to love this chipku colors coz it was funny to see colored faces next day in school.  We hardly use to recognized our own friends and later we use to laugh coz we played with some other kids.

Yes,  there were some cons too.  We used dirty muddy water and even threw eggs.  The most nostalgic thing in Holi was to get up early in morning just to fill bucket full of water balloons.  But right now,  all these things are ban (but not in between us). So instead came rain dance and DJ.  Today, everybody loves this rain dance and DJ.  But one things I like about today’s Holi is the different types of gadgets for kids. Like Water Gun in form of pretty bag or Riffle Gun. So I bought one water gun bag for my daughter. She was very happy but it became heavy after filling water in it. And I was the one, behind her, carrying that bag and she targeted me only.

The Colored Faces Memories

Holi

Back in 1990s, we had this silver color. The friend is “Ghost” when his/her face gets covered by this silver color. The one who has this color, we use to refer  him/her as “Ameer Dost (rich friend) “.

To maintain the clean face was very big task then, coz school had this strict rule that student will be punished if his/her face is not clear. So we use to apply oil on our face before playing with colors. Or keep on cleaning the face with good water. And  We even used shampoo.

But Still one corner use to left behind. Mostly, that corner was ears. But we didn’t care of ears and thank god for the colored ears n not the face.

Memories. Memories.. Those days will not come back. But still we can recreate it. Waiting for covid to go.. N silver color to come back to life.

Holi Hai Bhai Holi Hai, Bura Na Mano Holi hai.

(Please don’t mind, It’s Holi festival)
