Wordless Wednesday – Fiesta

Hello My fabulous readers. A very good day to you all. Today, Wednesday. So once again, to keep my blog up and running, and with no new ideas, I am back with my wordless Wednesday card. In India, We all have just bid adieu to Lord Ganesha. And the Mumbai is back to hurtle and scramble world. This time, I visited some pandals and also had been to quite famous ganapatis of Mumbai i.e. Lalbaug cha raja and GSB Ganapati.

The Mandals, I visited in my area were quite big. And they were all “Raja ” or “Maharaja”. Meaning; The King or the Great King. These Ganapati idols had a prestige, with great pride and commanding everyone, “not to worry, I am here.”

Here are some Pics:

Charkop Cha Raja (Charkop)
Sahayadri Cha Morya (Charkop)
Ganesh Gali Cha Raja (Charkop)
GSB Ganapati (King Circle, Sion). The Richest Lord Ganesha of Mumbai, decorated with real gold.
LalBaug Cha Raja (Parel). This is quite famous in Mumbai. It takes hours to pay visit to this Lord Ganesha.
